Located at the University of Colorado in Boulder, the Fiske Planetarium is a fabulous experience for the whole family. For starters, the lobby exhibits are FREE and open to the public during regular hours, Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Then there are the special shows and events that will knock your socks off! Featured events change from time to time, but how about checking out the Colorado Skies or Catching a Comet with the Rosetta Spacecraft. Pick one or more of the terrific planetarium shows like Supervolcanoes or Black Holes. There are family shows design to thrill adults and kids alike — shows like Stars and Lasers, the Life of Trees, or Down to Earth. For the night owls, the late night laser shows are set to some classic music, from the Beatles to Dark Punk, Lady Gaga to Jimi Hendrix and much more.

The planetarium also offers an assortment of programs for K-12 students. The programs range from recorded planetarium shows to live star talks to entertaining laser shows. If you’d like to book the planetarium for a private event like a birthday party or corporate event, you can call 303-492-5002 to make arrangements.
