{openx:1}What could be better than a line of Corvette’s cruising the Mother Road? It’s almost a rhetorical question. It’s going to happen this weekend June 7-9, 2007 in Flagstaff and Williams.

As part of the Corvette-N-America Road Tour, the Corvettes will cruise down Route 66 in Flagstaff on Friday night. Saturday the ‘Vettes will be on display on Route 66 in historic downtown Williams.

The Williams historic district of this once a bawdy frontier town, now offers glimpses into Williams’ colorful past. Saloons, bordellos, and shops have been brought back to life through the care and concern of present-day Williams merchants. The main drag is Route 66 and offers plenty to see, eat and do including the Grand Canyon Railway.

Downtown Williams is a great day-trip and an excellent escape from the heat. It’s located just 25 minutes west of Flagstaff on I-40.
