The Dubliner is a true Irish Pub in Phoenix, Arizona. On St. Patrick’s Day, it is one of the most popular taverns in the Valley of the Sun. The rest of the year, it is a quiet local tavern that has no pretensions or grandeur.

A huge, gleaming bar divides the center of the pub. On one side, you can sip your Guinness and watch sporting events on big screen TVs. Try the Chicken Boxty — a potato pancake with chicken in light cream sauce folded in the center — or the Shepherd’s pie, a humble combination of mashed potatoes, ground beef and cheese. Though the food isn’t fancy, it is very tasty and so reasonably priced it is almost unbelievable.
