		<description>You have a couple of options. The preserve is about 3 miles south of Wickenburg. Wickenburg has a number of hotels and other lodging options and plenty of open land for camping.  The other option is Phoenix which is about 50 miles southeast of the preserve.  Personally, if I was coming in from out-of-state, I would stay in Wickenburg. Wickenburg has a couple of very cool attractions besides the preserve. The Vulture Gold Mine is nearby and the &lt;a href=&quot;http://seethesouthwest.com/1362/desert-caballeros-western-museum/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Desert Caballeros Western Museum&lt;/a&gt; is a must see if you&#039;re into western art.</description>
