Join us in Arizona for the 20th Anniversary of the Celebration of Fine Art in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is a fun and exciting thing to do if you happen to be in Scottsdale in the winter and early spring. Housed in a unique venue, under 40,000 feet of “big white tent”, this is the temporary home to 100 artists and their working studios from across the US, Canada and the UK for 10 weeks every winter since 1991. You will have the opportunity to actually watch the artists at work, talk to them, and be amazed by caliber of their craft. From personal experience, it is truly astonishing to actually watch these masters create beautiful works of art, as well as take the time to talk with them. Each new booth brings new beautiful works of art, so be sure to take your time and see it all.

The Celebration of Fine Art has been called “One of the West’s Premier Art Events” by Art & Antiques magazine. Many have called it a perfect combination of the best parts of a weekend art show — access to the artist, and the best parts of a gallery — quality works of art. And it just keeps getting better and better each year. Returning artists bring back spectacular new pieces, while new invitees bring fresh new perspectives. The jury works to invite a broad variety of styles and mediums for a fresh new look each year. The one-acre open air courtyard is filled with life-sized and monumental sculpture suitable for private or corporate collections. It is a place where first time buyers to serious collectors are comfortable. The non-threatening atmosphere is a place where questions are welcomed and experiences are shared. When your feet get tired, there are plenty of places to sit down and just enjoy the atmosphere and grab and drink and a snack.

Be sure to bring your credit card or check book along, because there’s bound to be something you will just LOVE and have to have. Even if you can’t afford to spend a lot of money, there is a small gift shop where many artists offer cards, posters, prints and other versions of their work for a price that is easy on the wallet.

Show Director and Co-Owner, Susan Morrow Potje says, “It truly is a “celebration” of the best of art, the people who create it and the people who can’t live without it – the collectors. We are thrilled to be celebrating our 20th Anniversary of bringing art lovers and artists together and hope to be here for at least 20 more!”
