The music of a Colorado Christmas with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra (CSO) is a marvelous way to usher in the holidays. The CSO is the region’s only professional full-time orchestra and is the successor of the Denver Symphony. Established in 1989, the CSO embraces a tradition of musical excellence by presenting a wide variety of symphonic performances — from classical repertoire to innovative new forms. The CSO Chorus is celebrating its 25th anniversary this season and has over 200 volunteer members, 31 of them are charter members. The CSO continues to gain acclaim and respect around the world as performances WOW audience both live and on public radio broadcasts.

The complete concert season is listed on the Colorado Symphony Orchestra website. A good way to compliment your experience is to attend a CSO Concert Prelude. The preludes are informative and informal discussions of the coming concert and offer valuable insight into what you will be hearing. The discussions are held one hour before each Masterworks performance and are hosted by guest artists, orchestra members, critics and other presenters. If you can’t make a prelude before the concert, then you can attend post-concert reviews called CSO Talkbacks.
You may purchase tickets to any of the event on the Colorado Symphony Orchestra website or by calling the Box Office.
